We have had a fantastic start to the new term. It has been great to see the children returning and we have welcomed some new friends too!
The children have noticed some changes in the garden, we have spent some time in the summer giving the garden a makeover, this has made the outdoor spaces larger and we have freshened up our existing equipment, making it more vibrant and inviting for them and they have given their seal of approval!
We have been busy creating and making with a variety of different media, from glueing to free painting, the children have also made a canvas picture for our display wall, using media items of their choice. We have been using a lot of construction, from our new construction cupboard, this allows the children to choose which types of bricks they want to use, share rescources and to enable them to add to their creations.
We have restarted our breakfast club, we are offering a variety of healthy cereals, fruit and toast, this has been well recieved by the children, this enables good conversations about what we like and do not like to eat, and making healthy choices.
