First, we would like to thank everybody who brought raffle tickets for the charity night last Saturday night (30th November 2019). We raised an amazing £540 which got split between ourselves, Langham Community Shop and The Langham Community Centre.
This week, we explored playdough with glitter and pasta. The children made lots of funny faces using the pasta. We also did shape matching, counting with the interlocking cubes. The children also enjoyed playing with the Lego to make big towers and had competitions to see who could make the biggest tower.
We have carried on making Christmas crafts and made Christmas tree decorations for your children to bring home and hang on the tree. Maria also brought in her big, friendly Santa which lots of Christmas songs. Therefore, the children have loved dancing along to Father Christmas’ singing. We also enjoyed some dancing outside to let some energy off as the weather has not been great this week!
The children have also been helping to create a big learning tree which will be coming soon…
We explored cornflour and water which got some great conversation from the children, such as, gooey, sticky, hard, amazing and lots more. We will explore more messy play next week, using different resources to find out more amazing, big words.
We hope you all have a great weekend! We look forward to seeing you next week.
