Langham Pre-School Daily Routine

Langham Pre-School believes that every child deserves the best start in life.

To achieve this, the Pre-School puts in place this outcome focused, daily learning structure to guide every child’s learning journey...

This structure/routine will run in conjunction with the termly early learning goals which will be sent home at the beginning of each term and displayed on the Parents Notice board in the foyer.

The setting is child led which means the setting will be guided by the children’s individual needs and curiosities each day, meaning that this structure is flexible and will adapt itself to accommodate the learning needs prompted and guided from the children themselves…

Door open, Parents and Staff settle children in for the session.

All Children - Come together, register, morning song

Learning zone activities for All Children
For Example: small circle activities, games etc. graphics, adult led activity;
Younger Children, garden activity
9.45 - 10.00am
Fruit cutting ready for snack: All Children participate on a rota basis

Younger Children:  Hand Washing & Snack

Older Children: Hand Washing & Snack

Free Flow Play

All: Tidy up time in and out

Circle time in groups
