This week we have been enjoying the garden, lots of water painting, water play with various sea creatures, lots of pouring and filling with the water and the sand, and making lots of structures using the wet sand.
We have been watering our plants, we have lots of yummy carrots growing for our rabbit, Woody. The wild flowers are beginning to flower from our seeds from last summer, and the sunflowers are getting ever taller! The children are showing lots of pride in their plants, watering them each day, and talking to them too!
We have enjoyed our small world activities, with the farm, little pets, space and planets, and using the roadway and tyres for a track for the cars. this enabled lots of negotiating, problem solving and great turn taking!
We also made a giant train track, which the children loved the challenge of using all the pieces, and reconstructing where necessary to make it fit!
