This week we have had lots of fun in our mud kitchen, making lots of food and potions for our friends, mixing the dirt and sand together with herbs for different concoctions!
We have done some beautiful craft this week for our mummies and loved ones, we have begun to make lovely flowers and cards to take home next week for Mothers Day.
We have really enjoyed playing with dinosaur land, with lots of dinosaur eggs and our light up bricks to make mountains and enclosures for them, whilst they were trying to run away from the volcano!.
The children were really engaged with the small world activities this week, from Peppa Pig, to the Zoo, the Farm and Happyland, this encouraged real world play, lots of lovely turn taking and engaging conversations between each other. We have also been matching shapes and colours, and have had small and large scale jigsaws out, which encourages the children to listen to each others instructions and work together to complete the puzzles, great to see such good teamwork!
We have also taken the opportunity to explore the cold and snow, they loved running around as it snowed, and tried to catch the snowflakes with their fingers! The children were able to correctly identify a variety of types of weather and the appropriate clothing for each, lovely chatter everyone!
Have a lovely weekend, see you next week!
