This week at pre-school we have enjoyed celebrating Children in Need, with the lead up to the big day today, Friday! We have decorated Pudsey Bear pictures with craft resources and displayed them in our pre-school windows to show our families. We also made masks so that we could pretend to be Pudsey bear too. We have spoken about the meaning of Children in Need and this year; our pre-school will be donating a box for our local women’s refugee. Thank you to everybody who has kindly donated gifts for the box. This will be taken next week for the children to receive.
We have played matching animal games where the children have taken turns to play and watched each other. The children were able to associate the animal that was on the cards with the noise it makes too.
We have used the Peppa Pig toys to imagine we were at the park this week. We talked about our favourite thing to play on at the park and made the characters act out as if we were at the park.
The scales have been very popular this week with the cubes, allowing the children to explore different weights and using new descriptive language to explain what they see.
Next week we have the photographer visiting. This will be on Monday 22nd November 2021. Please call 07930 963638 if you would like to come along and have photographs taken.
Have a great weekend everyone 😊
