Welcome back!
It has been a fun filled week back at pre-school. We have been playing with small part activities such as pom poms and tweezers. The children have found resources around the pre-school to add to the small parts table. They choose stacking cups to then fill them with the different coloured pom poms.
We also have a construction area where the children have been using large items such as foam bricks and cardboard boxes to build towers and houses. The children have recognised different shapes within the area and talking about how big/ small their construction buildings are.
We have been enjoying more garden time now that the weather is changing. Children have been playing with water with the sea creatures we then added sand to create a beach theme. Children made sandcastles from the sand too.
We have also been making a start on some special cards for a few weeks’ time. Children have been using a variety of resources to ensure they make the best card for a special person in their lives. Glitter, glue, paint, pens etc have been used! So much fun has been had whilst doing this!
We hope you all have a great weekend and look forward to seeing you all again next week 😊
